Historical market place and Town Hall

The beach bathing area on the Wukensee Lake was reconstructed in 1990 and presents itself as a pearl for every nature lover and bathing enthusiast.

The towns’ coat of arms shows a red castle that is reminiscent of the castle belonging to the Margrave of Brandenburg which once stood here, the foundation stones of which can still to be seen on the castle mount.

The museum of aeronautics presents a comprehensive display portraying the history of aircraft and flight in Brandenburg.

The Finow canal was built in the 17th century and is the oldest man made waterway in Germany that remains in active use today.

The brass manufacturers’ settlement, the Eberswalde family gardens, the Zoo, the museum in the Adler Pharmacy, the house of Paul Wunderlich and the towpath along the Finow Canal.

The tower was built in 1879 and inaugurated by Prince Carl of Prussia as a memorial monument to the Askanier and their fortification at Werbellin.

The Werbellin Canal acts as a link connecting the Werbellinsee Lake to the Oder-Havel Canal. Notable are the restored colonist houses and the old oaks that gave the village its name.

The channel lake is 13 km in length and is set in a unique landscape.

The observation platform is on top of the roof of the old water tower.

The medieval Grimnitz Castle was first mentioned in documents from 1297 but may have been built earlier at the beginning of the 13th century. Today there are still parts of the castles walls and two vaulted cellars with many interesting details to be seen.

Directly at the northern end of the Werbellinsee Lake at the edge of the forest is the Art House. The arts centre for artistic and cultural activities has an art gallery, an art school and also offers first-class overnight accommodation.
